华为BBU3900的BSBC为通用BBU基带背板，共有8个单板槽位（0-7号槽位），2个电源槽位、1个风扇槽位。提供背板接口，进行单板间的通信及电源供给。

WBBP板为基带处理单元，多可插3块板。功能有：处理上下行基带信号，为BBU3900和RRU间的通信提供CPRI（通用无线协议接口）端口。WBBP板上有6个光口（CPRI0-CPRI5），插光模块进行光收发.一个CPRI口可串联4个RRU，一个WBBP板共可带24个RRU。CPRI口用于连接射频模块，传输业务数据。板位右边有三个指示灯，分别指示不同的状态
UTRP(Universal Transmission Processingunit)单板是BBU3900的传输扩展板，提供与传输设备连接的接口。其为选用单板，多配置两块。主要功能为：提供E1/T1传输扩展接口，与传输设备相连，支持ATM、TDM、IP协议；支持冷备份功能。
WMPT板安装在7号（默认）或6号槽位，多2块单板。主要功能有：（1）负责配置管理，设备管理，性能监控，信令处理，以及无线资源管理；（2）控制系统内所有单板； （3）提供系统时钟和传输端口； （4）实现BBU与MME/S-GW之间的信号交互。
The BSBC of Huawei BBU3900 is a general-purpose BBU basebandbackplane. It has eight single-board slots (0-7 slots), two powerslots and one fan slot. Provide backplane interface forcommunication and power supply between veneers.
The picture above shows the BBU3900 device of Unicom WCDMA.Among them, WBBP board is inserted in slot 3, UTRP board isinserted in slot 4 and WMPT board is inserted in slot 7.
The WBBP board is a baseband processing unit and can be pluggedin up to three boards. Functions include: processing downlink anddownlink baseband signals, providing CPRI (Universal WirelessProtocol Interface) ports for communication between BBU3900 andRRU. There are six optical ports (CPRI0-CPRI5) on the WBBP board,and the optical transceiver module is used. One CPRI port canconnect four RRUs in series, and one WBBP board can carry 24 RRUs.The CPRI port is used to connect the RF module and transmitbusiness data. There are three lights on the right side of theboard to indicate different states.
UTRP (Universal Transmission Processing Unit) single board isthe transmission expansion board of BBU3900, which provides theinterface to the transmission equipment. It is a single board withtwo pieces at most. The main functions are: providing E1/T1transmission expansion interface, connecting with transmissionequipment, supporting ATM, TDM, IP protocol, and supporting coldbackup function.
WMPT board is installed in slot 7 (default) or slot 6, up to 2veneers. The main functions are: (1) responsible for configurationmanagement, equipment management, performance monitoring, signalingprocessing and wireless resource management; (2) all single boardsin the control system; (3) providing system clock and transmissionports; (4) realizing signal interaction between BBU andMME/S-GW.
